I'm from Australia and my TVpad just stopped working. With the exception of a couple of Korean vod all live streams were fine last night using the 42DNS. Does anyone know what's happening?
It appears only live channel will working on TVpad 1 even with changing DNS. They have cut the VOD streams for get 1-3. The quick look app with the disc only has updates til 17/12/15
Hi, My TV PAD 3 with paid DNS does not work with BETV||, however the HK live TV app is working, any idea? Also NIJI_Show work partially that only certain channels are streaming, anything I can do? Thank.
I have two TVPad4 in Chicago. The last two days I have been experiencing streaming issues with the YueTV live channels. Seems like only one channel streams (not always the same channel) ok while the other channels stutters and eventually displays the yellow striped cone with a Chinese message (I am not fluent in written Chinese, but I assume it's saying there is a streaming problem). The time-shifted app and the VOD app streams fine. Anyone else notice this issue?
I am in NYC, just check before reply (1/11, 10:13pm), all Cantonese live channels (TVB, Jade, etc) streamed normally. Streaming is smooth. Time shift on TVB HD needs a few tries (more like 7-8 tries) to get to the programming menu. Prior to that, the 'loading failure' message prompt keeps showing up. I am on TVPad4 without VPN, auto DNS. VOD is fine.
Apps like 36TV and YueTV will they work in Canada?
I can open both apps, but a pop up box indicated this is in a restricted zone, the programming work fine in the back ground behind the pop up box. Once I press OK, both apps will terminate and retune to apps selection page.

Are you already using VPN pointing to a server outside of North America? If that is not the case, try this:
and see if you can bypass region restriction on these 2 apps. If that works, then you know it is the IP address assigned by your ISP is not from North America.

@fustrated , can you clarify which apps you were using to watch TVB live and VOD ? Is there a time shift app for TVPad4?

Try another server location on the VPN
so you are saying openvpn worked fine with TVPAD4?
@padman, perhaps we are mixing up Timeshift and Replay in the Kong-Yue Network TV. In TVPad1, Timeshift was the app which continuously playback of shows 12 hours behind, I don't find this feature in TVPad4.

As per that update, Looks like TVPad3 can still watch live broadcast from the following channels:
TVBHD
TVB
TVB J2
TVB News

1) install open vpn connect apk to your TVPad4
