1. VChannel + chromecast (around $30) = watch VChannel in TV with your phone as remote. The picture and sound quality is comparable to TVPad. You can also watch youtube using chromecast. Youtube has tons of Cantonese content.
Why you folks don't try the " EncoreTvb " app, which in IOS or Android play store, it's 100 % free, but only works on Phone, not works with ipad or android pad. (almost current TVB dramas in there) , trade off is you force to watch ad, one in every episode.
Then air play it to the big screen, will make all your parents happy.

I downloaded it but found the commercials are too long. The ads last more than 30+ second before you can watch anything.

ATTENTION TVPAD 1- 3 users: Please read the forum before asking repeated question. All TVpad1, 2, and 3 is dead.
Only TVpad 4 will be working for the time being. If you choose to invest another $200 to get TVpad 4, then good luck.
Padman is trying to tell us that TVpad is not conducting a good business practice for screwing us. Do you want to continue giving them your business, or shop elsewhere?
Do you know if the moonbox apps will work on an android tv box beside tvpad 4 ?

I purchase three tvpad3's for neighbors and myself as of today only one is working with no live streaming but vod works on all korean apps except solvie! I have tried to set up the other tvpads using the same system information from the one that works with no luck? The only difference between the tvpads is that the one that works has product version "international" and the other 2 tvpads have nothing showing under product version? The tvpad working is setup using 49 DNS, LAN, location NC. My next step would be to take my tvpad3 to my neighbors house and see if works with their router? I will make sure my neighbors tvpad3 is not unplugged I have a concern about the working tvpad3 going down!!!! Its a mystery that needs a solution?
