It depends on what your need.
On TVPad4
- If you only care about Cantonese programming, YueTV will be the best option.
- If you care about Taiwanese programming. the 36tv.app will cover 90% of your needs.
- for Mainland Chinese programming, download shafa,apk http://www.shafa.com/market and go to their app store to download whatever you need
The 29 apps are really not that useful. I only install the above 3 apps, and these 3 covered 99% of my needs.
Why do you guys like to create problems for yourself? If DNS don't work for your apps then stop using them. There are other apps that you don't need DNS to watch. YueTV for HK and China shows. TV Plus 2.0 over 300 channels. It's not enough for you or your mom to watch?

i am in sf area, ca, have tvpad 4 like yours( with auto config, no vpn)
even i can watch cantonese program using yuetv, the video stutters a lot.
do you have similar experience?
vst for mainland program works for me but again , not 100%

Hi guy the YueTv is a custom make for people in USA after they block all server ,this apps is all in one .If the video stutters a lot its depand on your network speed
hey everyone, after i Downloaded the Apk pack 1 and 2 installed into my M418 tvpad, i run few apps and turn it off. When i tried to turn on my tvpad again, it stuck on the tvpad screen and wont boot into the desktop. anyhelp? please?
How long have you waited for the tvpad to boot up ?

Are you shure you can install all Pack 1 &2 in Pad4 it should run out space of that and please try to unplug the power cable let Pad4 complet reboot it
Which firmware are you trying to update? did you even read the WHOLE first post before you trying to update the firmware if you are in the USA?

There is something you are not telling us. Do you really think that I will believe those apps will kill you TVPad? those apps are giving out by TVPad company.

I just chatted with tvpad customer service, as I was asking them to send me the link for the 29 applications for my tvpad 4.
