I have a TVPad4 in US. After loading apps from USB, I use the auto network setting, cold boot, and now I can get live HK program. I think I have to do cold boot every time though.

Issue:
Using VST app (version 3.0) to watch movies
does works, but a lot of movies are either region restricted, or the rendering is painfully slow (not related to internet speed as I am on FIOS with highest bandwidth)
I tried this feed on VChannel: http://rss.my03.com/channels.
It does work but don't have foreign movie, only HK and mainland movies.
Questions for the board:
1) What app can you suggest as alternative for me to watch movies?
2) On Vchannel, is there a feed that carry foreign films (not drama)?
Both VST and VChannel are third party Android apps, TVPad has no control of them.
Did you install the Yue app? It gives you live and rerun of TVB dramas and show and some movies. Just search this thread for the app.

I tried YueTV (version 1.41). with this configuration, It either throws a blank page (dark screen) or showed me the 'cannot connect...' error message
Should I change to auto DNS? If not, which DNS other than 49.x works for NYC?
for YueTV, you don't need to change anything in NYC. Just leave the DNS auto.

@BennyLam: On TVPad4 FW 5.054, for YueTV app, set DNS to auto or 49.x both does not work in NYC.
Error message is 'connection too slow'. I tried both on FIOS ethernet and Wifi
@Cheuk5: downloaded Movie Hd / ShowBox. Movie Hd totally not work on TVPad4 after installation.
ShowBox works, and movie quality is really good.
However, I need to navigate the app using a USB mouse, cannot navigate it using TVPad remote.

Use the pack2 to restore your apps if you have fw 5.054. Use DNS 49.213.10.163 to set ur DNS.
