    I refund the PureVPN service too because it's required to change DNS for whatever reason.

    Got the 2 years deal with PIA and works like a charm. I don't even need to use router. Just use the stock android VPN to connect. Don't need to change DNS.

    Ok the conclusion for Tvpad 4 use firmware 5.045 in US

    1. use VPN (sign up to HK server) and DNS
    everything working except theYUE.app (they block the people to use YUE.apps in HK)

    2.only change the DNS
    Then you will get zone restriction for ???????BETV Plus, HKTV?????......

    No wonder those Apps are take down from the apps store now>:D<

    When using VPN pointing to other servers other than HK or China like Romania, Mexico YueTV will work.

    No, YueTV is not working because of the most recent Chinese government crack down on all IPTV boxes and 81 apps at November 15. If you can read Chinese, you can see:

    @Tvpadfan: Thanks for the link.
    "???????? ??????81???"
    So you mean YueTV belongs to one of these 81?
    Wonder where we can find the complete list, so we don't have to waste time in the future.
    Thanks.

    I'm on purevpn and I'm using it with a DNS and everything is working I check all the apps is working and I even got some of the moonbox apps to work like the ilive to watch TVB. If tvpad services goes down I still have the moonbox apps that works for me. I'll come on this forum from time to time because I'm a college student and the final is coming up.

    Moonbox apps can work because it's android and tvpad runs android. There are ways around things and if you think it needs a moonbox MAC address your also wrong on that. MAC address can only go so far because once it hits a router the MAC address is remove before leaving the router. The MAC address from your router is remove be the isp router, so your MAC address never get to go out to the world. I will post how to get ilive app and others I have got working when I have time.

    @kunlingkan:
    From my experience, Yes. Connect to VPN allows me to bypass the region restriction on TVPad4
    Make sure you connect to VPN servers located in Hong Kong, China, Korea, Japan, etc.
