    Can you uncheck the Remeber credentials box and input your username and password?

    @BennyLam,

    I agree with what you said. The server config files sent to us by VPNUnlimited are indeed individualized (i.e. user credentials already embedded)

    I emailed VPNUnlimited to obtain all config files (*.ovpn) for their servers.
    I installed OpenVPN_Connect (openvpn-connect-1-1-16-en-android.apk) and imported the config files of their Hong Kong & Japan servers
    Then I invoked OpenVPN_Connect and select my desired profile (Hong Kong or Japan), and tap <Connect> button.
    After a few seconds, I am connected to the server.

    One observation:
    If I use the OpenVPN.apk to connect to the a VPNUnlimited server, I can see the servers are connected, but apps like ???? keep saying 'loading failure'
    However, if I connect via the native VPNUnlimited app (scroll through the servers and connect to Hong Kong server), ???? will work.

    Have anyone observed the same? If not, what setting did you change on OpenVPN app to get it to connect properly?

    For folks who talked about seeing the "internal exception" message upon attempt to connect to VPNUnlimited servers. I found that the ultimate solution is to perform a factory restore on TVPad and re-install all your apps

    Suggestion:
    Use a clean thumb drive and put all the apps you need, the VPN configuration files,other vital info (e.g. username/password, feed URLs), etc, just for TVPad app restore.
    By using batchinstall.banana, it literally takes 5 minutes or less to re-install all the .apks. (Moving them around to your desired location afterwards actually takes a bit longer)

    Hope this helps.

    @Dragon,
    See my reply to @BennyLam a few posts down. I think I may just clarified the situation on using OpenVPN_connect with VPNUnlimited config files (a.k.a. profiles)

    The factory reset sure works, however, it won't survive a cold reboot so it is not a very practical solution. I will try looking for solution for a few more days before I give up. The most reliable way may be a dedicated router for VPN connections but changing server is not very convenient.

    The only way for it to work is setup van on your router. Tvpad is not rooted and setting will not save correctly, so after a cold boot you will lose certificate authentication.

    So how is the speed on VPN Unlimited? Is it truly unlimited bandwidth and data transfer? I am about to jump the boat onto this but don't want to waste money if it isn't worth it.

    TVPad streams only use about 1Mb/s so speed isn't an issue.

    VPN Unlimited don't count against data transfer from what I could tell.

    Thanks padman. Is the setup just seamless? Just put in credentials and server IP and you are good to go? It seems like some users are having some problems with theirs.

    For some reason i am still not connected to VPN when the 2nd Router boots up.

    I did all the settings as specified and followed this tutorial here exactly.
    https://www.cactusvpn.com/tutorials/how-to-set-up-l2tp-vpn-on-dd-wrt-routers/

    I also noticed that when i connect the 2nd router to a laptop, i cant reach the internet from that laptop. Should i be able to? The 2nd router is on 192.168.2.1

    What am i missing?

    I did a factory reset, then install vpn unlimited and set it up before installing all other apps and now it works. However, when I play YueTV, I get "The region is restricted" screen does't matter which server I pick on VPN unlimited. Anyone know how to fix it? Thank you.

    Seems like Unlimited VPN isn't working as hoped, made the purchase and keep finding so much problems with the setup. I know the connection is working but the TVPad says restricted.

    What servers are working good? I thought using Singapore would be fine. Do I need to use a Hong Kong server?

    I used HK and it worked for me.

    Once you are VPN, you won't be able to use yuetv since that is geoblocked for US.

    I am planning on getting VPNUnlimited and a 2nd Router for my TVpad3. I use Korean apps and right now and most apps work on the free DNS (123.127.108.135) EXCEPT the VOD. Will VPNUnlimited and the 2nd Router solution make the videos on demand work???
