Hi I have tvpad 4 and I managed to get it working today. It wasn't working yesterday.
Under settings I manually checked for general updates. Mine was already updated.
Then I went to the App Store, found the Tvb app and updated the app from within the App Store. And hey presto - can watch Tvb no problem now!
Hope it works for you! I'm in London uk. Version 50.54
and please what firmware you're on AND state which country you're in, this post will mislead hundreds of users to do the wrong thing.

TVB!!! I can't even find the old app which sort of looked like a flower or pinwheel and had the Hong Kong, Cantonese, video on demand library. You have it working? Please tell me this is the one.
Here are the instructions (in a Chinese blog) to offline upgrade your TVPad2 GVOS 3.70 to GVOS 3.94
The download links in the blog below are specifically for TVPad 2 GVOS 3.70 or 3.80 only.

If your current version is 3.70, you need to back up all your installed apps as they will disappear after the upgrade. You can then restore your apps after the upgrade to 3.94
If your current version is 3.80, you do not need to back up your installed apps (But I advise you do so to be on the safe side).

My TVPad1 M121S with FW3.26 not worked for past 2 days for VOD & live streaming. Previously was working during this outage with changes to DNS but now, no green man with "User Does Not Exists Error so looks like problems with authentication servers.
Same here, tried all different DNS servers which people reported working for TVPAD3 or TVPAD4 are now not working for TVPAD1.
Looks like TVPad1 is now dead unless anyone can confirm.
I have also tried all the new dns's but when i test the connection, i get error code 7 at the server level and passed DNS with 49.*. Mine is TVPAD2 - GVOS 3.7.
no green man showed up no matter how I tried. When I tried to upgrade to 3.94, it would not let me anymore as the green man is not lit.
Do you have TVPAD2 with FW lower than 3.94? if so, you may want to try upgrading the FW to 3.94 and give it a try. I got mine resolved after than and not getting error code of -7.
Hi, can someone please help. I have a tvpad 2 user in Australia and uses the Niji app most of the time. I tried all the DNS listed but none were successful. Help please.

I'm in UK and My TVPad 2 is working on auto settings but my TVPad 1 is still not working. Does anyone have any ideas?

The only DNS that is working for me today is 49.213.10.163 and it is working only intermittently.

my tvpad 4 firmware ver 5.054
so decided to upgrade my tvpad4 to firmware 5.060 using padman's 'TVPad 4 Useful files'.
also upgraded 23apps.

everythings works now, testing network with all green ticks, even the tvpad store came back and all channel working.
