Yes I did press "ok" on my remote but all I get was "it has been deleted" message next to the channel I want. Does this have anything to do with the fact that I am running version 5.066 on my pad4?

Yes that was the file I installed. Anyway, I followed your advice and reinstalled the app but sadly I have to report that it is still not working for me. When I select a channel such as ViuTV I would get a message saying "it's been deleted" in Chinese. So now I am stuck at the default channel whenever I launch the app and unable to change channels. Anyway, thanks again for your help!
I don't think the version of the tvpad4 is matter, deleted the app and install it again, where did you downloaded it from? mine's working fine.

downloaded or install? if u don't see the app, it means the app didn't install yet. u need to have google store installed on your box in order to work too.
I don't know why either. The channel changing feature just doesn't work for me. I did uninstall and reinstall the app again but still cannot change channels. When I launch the app, it just streams a default channel, sometimes the default channel is Japanese, sometimes its a radio station channel.
Every time I select a channel I want and press the "ok" "middle" button on my remote, the message "it's been deleted" displays next to it, if I press "ok" again, it restores it. Anymore advice on how I can get this working? Thanks!
I don't know why yours doesn't work. Mine can select channel with up and down and enter (middle button)

Its saying ''Problem communicating with google servers''

No if your Tvpad with new firmware 5.066 it will include Google play store.
just use a usb mouse and pull down menu from upper right corner. click setting and go to date and time.

yeh it was already set to the correct time. I've just tried again now and I can log in now. Strange it didnt let me the other day.
