Yes, search for Helium on this forum, back up your apps first, then delete some less important app, and install Shafa
It works on 5.06 within the US with manual DNS but it doesn't work in Canada with auto DNS.

I had a funny observation last night. My setup is TVpad4 using dns 49. with openvpn installed, somtimes my wife turned on the box and forgot to connect to the vpn, the box still could get the TVB live-streams and the playbacks. That means that dns address work without the vpn. However it is not consistent, it may work for hours without a hitch, then you click around and come back for the playbacks then it is extreamly slow to load.

I would like to share my recent experience with people who is using TVpad 3 in Toronto area.
I am keep using 49.213.10.163 for DNS shortly after the outage. Everything was fine until Sunday night. But I can confirm everything is back to normal again today.
Update using DNS 199.231.210.237, apps like ???? v1.27, shows the list, but the stream doesn't start. keeps saying 2 kb/s, and get a time out.
changed to DNS 49.213.10.163 and the problems seems to be solved again.
old version of ????, doesn't work on both DNS servers
tested on two TVPAD3
Netherlands

I am using Wifi connection and live in IL, US
All BeTV(chinese mainland channels) and ???? work. At least for today, not sure how long this will last. I didn't test the other apps because BETV and ???? are the only apps we watch.
I have both TV Pad 3 and 4. For TV pad 3, I can watch all the all the Cantonese TV even ????. The trick is as some of the users had previously indicated to make sure wipe out all the IP address, ....,DNS.etc ad re-enter them again then re-boot the TV pad 3. This is very important. It will not work if you just tried to re-enter just the DSN. For TV Pad 4 on following the process above, you can watch all the Cantonese TV except ????.
Yes, you are correct. Change to Manual and just change the DNS. Using the 49... now works with watching TVB, and last couple of days programming. But ???? is not working since a couple of days ago.

When I use 146 DNS for tvpad 4 everything is ok , but they show me out of area later on.
I tried all DNS numbers on my TVPad 2 and still getting errors. Could you please tell me which DNS number actually works for TVPad2?
Here is my TVpad 2 information:
Android Version: 2.3.4 Customized
TVPad Version: GVOS 3.94
Model: M233_4300
Any help would greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
