Yuevideo 5.9.1 not working on HT2

This app is not working since the upgrade of previous version. Also due to the recent upgrade, Chinese tv and yuegang apps are not working either.. displaying error ec-5 access failed please contact dealer.. please help! Thanks

    Not even getting an error not here, just get kicked out of app. Hopefully it's temporary.

    Yep.logged in the app but got kicked out everytime clicked on a show or drama. I think it’s the recent upgrade..

    This has happened to my box as well as of 10-1-18. I think the app got updated to this version and since then, trying load any drama immediately kicks me out.

    What's odd is that the YueGang live streaming app still works.

    I really do suggest you guys not to uninstall it and then try to reinstall because they removed all the apps from the store so you won't be able to get it back. I know someone posted the apps here but I had parsing issues trying for side load them. So probably just wait and see. The device is not dead if you're able to load other apps.

    Yeah.. it’s the recent upgrade.. I still could download app after deleting it.. it worked for a minute with the old version 4.12 but it automatically updated to 5.9. That’s when the app did not work and kicked me out every time

    Yuegang doesn’t work either .. it says error access failed and contact dealer

    That is the biggest mystery. Still functioning but no web presence. There's really no way to contact them. Only thing we can do is wait. Well the Chinese vod app updated too and it doesn't work. So both vod app is dead.

    Same here. VOD 5.9.1 just crashes for me when trying to go into any of the titles.

    have anyone thought of editing the app using apk editior , to see if that helps

    I am confused. When I saw this, I tried to go to the app store to see if I can find Yue, but all of the Chinese apps are gone. The only working app is the porn app.

    It's updating your current app. Not downloading a new app. The app auto updates when you open it.

    Happy to say that my htv2 box is working again after the vod apps updated to 5.10.1. For me, this is YueVideo and Various Video.

    Cantonese playback was also updated to 5.10.1

    Just launch the app and it should auto update to the latest version.

    Odd thing is that my Cantonese live streaming app YueGangTV is still at 5.2.1 but it's never stopped working for me.

    ChineseTV live streaming app was working when version was 5.2.1but updated to 5.10.2 and now seems to kick me out.

    FYI, I am in NYC using Verizon Fios for Internet.

    Cleared the cache and data for the ChineseTV app and it's working again

    Just launch the app and wait. A message should pop up stating that a new version is available. It will auto download and quit the app. The next time you open the app, the version number should change to a newer version. Either 5.10.1 or 5.10.2
