    @tomato123

i think i found the solution to your problem.

    1. make sure your box's time and date are correct.
    2. download this version of Terrarium TV and try it. i got it to work on a friend's box yesterday. good luck!

  • I been using Netflix because there are some nice contents and the user interface is handsdown best in industry IMO. But I also have it for a while now before more advanced things are available.
Admittedly though I don't have time to really scroll and go thru all its content and that's why the UI is important to push or recommend what you might wanna watch.

Lately they have Voltron for example. Then all the old series like Star Trek Enterprise. Or Friends. Well you get the idea.

But mostly I stuck with it because of it being $8 a month that I find it reasonably priced.

Last week I watched season 1 of Final Fantasy series Netflix content from Japan with English sub which is pretty nice by the way.

Is there a way to change the default time setting? Everytime the tvpad4 got power unplug, it change back the time. I have to go to setting and set it back to auto.

Both those for Cantonese TVB streaming!!
Mecool and use which TVB streaming app?

Meanwhile install so easy just plug in usb and open with the apk installer, or download directly the app

VOD MoreTV works very well on this MeCool
  • we already said in the beginning of the thread it's not compatible with newer android boxes.

  • I had only found time to update this now.
Managed to dual-boot the device I got with LibreElec and run Kodi with it. Smooth like Butter.
But this require you to make an investment for a Micro Sd Card because the dual boot comes from the SD Card.

A very good card is only $12.99 you can get from Amazon.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XWN9Q99/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And yes 32Gb size is more than you need.

And then, you actually can get the even lower spec of this box. Gearbest sells them.
    https://www.gearbest.com/tv-box/pp_668959.html (this is 1Gb Ram/8Gb Rom)
    Just $29.99

    So basically, you pay $12.99 + $29.99 = $43

You won't have anything cheaper running this high quality of ICDrama on Kodi. If you never ran Kodi on LE OS before, you should really try it.

I just placed an order for this box. Will come back again to review it for others.
    MECOOL M8S PRO Plus Android 7.1.1 Amlogic S905X 2GB/16GB WIFI 4Kx2K@60fps VP9 HDR10
I caught this from the kodi forum.
The price I got it for is under $37 free shipping included in the US.

Very high review, and it will work with Netflix too.
My intention is to run the napper app on this box as well as other free live stream app, and then Kodi.

Just sharing this if like me you were looking to get a cheap tvbox for someone else to use.

No matter how attractive the specification, Without the backup support, the box worth very little.

Many boxes made in China actually are disqualify for retail sale purpose, the hardware not even genuine as well, that's why they are cheap.

Zidoo is so far the best box maker, but more expensive

    @Goldmanlu

This is a DIY box. A lot of resources are available online in fact I found it to be recommended at kodi discussion forum and at LibreElec's forum as well.

I believe not everyone on this forum need 'backup support' as you mention.
To me, the retailer matters much, so be sure to buy it from larger known retailers because they staff their customer support - and I need them more for processing warranty claims or one-to-one exchanges if it justifies.

Intention of this post is that I share a cheap box to people that frequent this forum.
You can well start another topic on this forum talking about Zidoo for people who may be interested.
There could be people who benefit from this.
  • I kind of agreed with @grimmie , most of users here is just wanted for watching basic video vod etc... However Zidoo is definitely a better box, a high=end box whoever wants to watch and gaming a better video and Dolby DTS audio output, and this box is made in China as well, cheap doesn't means it's bad, it just for a different market.

  • goldmalu is way off lol. how about compare zidoo with nivida shield? if u r paying that price , might as well get the nvidia shield. nvidia's customer service is second to none.
