How to remove an icon from menu

Hi, Can anyone tell me how to remove an app from a menu. I have a screen with an app with a '+' sign.
When I click on it, it allows me to install apps from the 'All Apps' menu. Then when I filled up 2 rows, this "+' app disappeared, and I cannot remove some apps already there. Look like they did not provide a way to remove installed apps. I have Moonbox also, and the apps can be removed very easily, and I even can move it around the screen. Please help.
