Has anyone experienced popup ads? I started getting popup ads yesterday. The ads popup regardless which apps I was running. It even popup when I was using Kodi.
Some installed apps will pop up adverts from time to time. I find one called Dong Bei the worst for this. You can either ignore them or uninstall the app,
It seems to be worse than that. It's a full screen popup. I have since restore the box, and it's still poping up. It's also installing weird apps in the background like paid adult video apps, and others. Not sure how to get rid of them.
Just a suggestion. From ubox main menu, go to Settings icon at bottom of page and click on Boot Manager. Try unchecking anything suspicious and then reboot ubox.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I ended up deleted data, cache directories that do not look kosher, and reboot the box. It seems to be gone now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
