TVPAD4 FIX for canada
The following is a fix for TVPAD 4 provided by my Toronto vendor in Dec. 2015 and it works fine for me. I am in London, Ontario, Canada and used the these procedures to get my TVPAD 4 to work again. However, I cannot get my TVPAD 3 to work. Please note that the DNS may be different for different countries, and/or suppliers. You should contact the vendor to get the proper DNS.
Tvpad 4 修改DNS後升級的步驟
1- Go to “Setting”
2- Select “Network”
3- Choose “Manual” (DO NOT CHANGE IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway)
4- Change the DNS to one of the followings:
107.151.128.222
49.213.10.163
47.88.138.175
183.57.43.70
5- Confirm
6- Unplug the power , after 1 minute plug it in again
7- Go to “Setting” again, then select “Update” and press “check for update”
8- After update, please go to “ Setting” and select “Network”. Finally, choose “Auto” and press “Acquire”.
9- After getting the Network info, unplug the power and then, plug it in again.
10- Go to “TVPad Store” and select “ Management”. Check for available Apps update and click on the icon to update all of them.
1- 手動進入系統設置
2- 網絡設置
3- 手動配置（IP地址，子網掩碼，網關這三個不變）
4- DNS手動設置以下其中一個：
107.151.128.222
49.213.10.163
47.88.138.175
183.57.43.70
5- 設置完成，保存
6- 斷電重啟機器
7- 重啟後需要再進入設置，升級，檢測升級版本，提示有新版本，請確定升級，等待完成
8- 升級完成，機器重啟成功，進入設置，網絡設置，選擇自動獲取網絡
9- 重啟機器
10- 進入商城，應用管理，查看可升級應用，全部點擊確認升級，即可完成新版本的全新體驗。
I hope someone in this forum can help me with my TVPAD 3, Version 4.18 bought from Hong Kong a few years ago!
