L2TP VPN Disconnects

Hello!

I am using a 2 router setup with VPN on the 192.168.2.x sub domain.

I am using VPN Unlimited (Keep Solid VPN).

The VPN Disconnects after like 5 minutes of use.

Why does it do this? Are there any settings i need to add?

I am using a stock Linksys EA4500 as my VPN device.

On your vpn router there should be an option to keepalive.

The keep alive is automatically set to 30.

Is there some other value I need to use?

Anyone get a second Linksys router to stay connected to L2TP VPN?

I have my keep alive on, however it does not stay connected.

Has anyone else encountered this issue using Linksys as their second router for VPN?

After countless hours of struggle I got it working.

The difference is that I did not use the standard DDWRT L2TP setup using the "Setup -> Basic Setup -> WAN Connection Type" drop down list. This did NOT work for me. It never connected or stayed connected.

The way I got the VPN to connect and stay connected was using DDWRT OPENVPN!

You must email VPNUnlimited support to get the specific details for your account, however the setup guide here works PERFECTLY!

TVBox (TVPad4) M418 is working with Korean and Japanese Live streaming and On Demand all app.
