is TVPAD 3 Dead with VPN now?

Hey everybody,

my parents finally bugged me enough to make an account here and fix their TV pad 3, before I was just temprorarily changing the DNS by lurking on the forums here. My question is, I got the VPN setup and hooked up to my wifi, yet it still does not work.

Am I doing something wrong? It's connected via- wifi and is on AUTO. Or is TVPAD 3 dead now even with the VPN?

    I got my TVP3 working with 2nd router method connected to HK or China server, i can get VOD and live streaming working fine.

    using purevpn 2nd router and connected to HK or china VPN server
    auto DNS on router and TVP3

    My TVpad 3 is still not working in Chicago using VPN & AUTO DNS.

    I'm in Chicago too. I was able to get connecting with 2nd router VPN method point to China VPN server or HK VPN Server with PureVPN PPTP connection/

    Are you getting all apps working or just some? I am using an Eastern Europe server.

    Both my TVPad2 and 3 are up and running fine for live and VOD for Korean channel one is using vpn to Toronto and 49 dns. One is using paid vpn, although I must say VOD seems to be not getting updates anymore.

    Right now, the way I see HK TVB program through .........using TVB Encore app on my Android device & Casting to my TV through Chromecast.

    i just use auto DNS on tvp3 and 2nd router.
