Cannot change DNS on TVPad2

Since none of my apps are working, I am trying to change the DNS settings. When I try to change the values of DNS, it won't let me because IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway are empty. Well, I change the type from Manual to Auto, then I press "Continue" hoping that those fields will be populated. Instead, I get an error that says:
"Failed to set cable network".
How else can I get these values?
