tvpad 3 Remote not working

I bought a new tv, then the tvpad remote stopped working, whenever the tvpad remote is close to the tvpad, red lights blinks constantly. my new tv remote blinks red light when I tired to control the tv. However, the tv pad turns on when i plug in the power cord, after that neither of the remote works on the tvpad, can not go in to apps or change anything. looks like its frozen. and the only way i can turn tvpad off is by unplugging the power cord. SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!! i thought that the new tv remote took over the control of the old tvpad remote. but NO. Does this mean i need a new tvpad remote?

    try changing the remote's battery?

    No, It didnt work. I had tried.

    So what happens when you connect your tvp to another tv?

    That's strange. Do you only have 1 tvp in your house ?

    Yes I only have one tvpad

    buy a remote from ebay or borrow it from a friend and see if your tvp still works before buying another remote. all remotes are universal to all tvp
