Will I be able to access the app and N+ store thru my TVpad 3 in the USA? Right now they and appnnn.com are not available (I guess it's blocked in the US).

No, you will need a vpn for that.

    Hi Padman,

Thanks so much! I have been able to watch TVB live and replay programs after I signed up the service. It will takes a little bit long to load the channels at the beginning. But everything is working fine afterward.

It really a big help if people don't want the trouble/headache to setup vpn network and spend more money for an extra router. Also, it is CAD $5, so it is about USD $3.80/month for 1 slot.

I don't bother to buy any other tv box until my TVPad 2 died. Save my money for the new TVpad 5 (who knows).

    FYI -

I am living in California, U.S., using TVPad 2, so far I have tried HD TVB, TVB, J2 & Niji channels, they all works (both live and replay programs).

The K-pop, Karaoke & N+ store are not working.

    Sign up and enjoy!

There are three apps that check your IP address.

    1) ??????
    2) Best TV plus
    3) ????

Just changing DNS will not work.

$5 Canadian dollar is about $3.75 USD for a month of subscription - that is a pretty good deal to get TV pad working again.

    Hi Padman,
I just signed on, paid and received confirmation email. I followed the instructions to My Service and Management Actions where there are two sets of numbers - Your DNS Service IP and Your service is approved to use with. I tried both sets of numbers but didn't work. The setting I am looking at has - IP Address; Subnet Mask; Gateway; and DNS. I am guessing that I only need to change DNS, is that correct? Also which set of numbers to put in DNS?

Sorry so many questions, totally technologically challenged. Thanks for doing this, really appreciate your help.

Set it back to auto and then acquire the IP. Copy down the IP address, gateway and netmask..

Set the config back to manual then just fill in the information.

If your PC and the tvpad is under the same router than the external IP should be the same.

Can you take a screenshot of your tvpad network settings ?

OK the problem I am having is that every time I change the DNS manually as soon as I click OK it will immediately revert back to the old DNS. I tried many times inputing the new DNS manually and still it happens. What do you suggest I can do?

You need to change the dns server as it's listed in your service page
