TVPAD 2 users HELP

Hi, guys
Since the tvpad service is already banned in the US, everybody is trying to use the the new DNS to continue the TVB steam or drama.
However, I tried the new DNS from the forum, but it doesn't help in my case. My location is New York and FIOS is my Internet carrier.
The version of my tvpad box is Android 2.3.4, and TVpad version GVOS3.8
Should I need to update fw of the tvpad box or any solution I can use?
