Yes, files were unzipped before installing.

Try factory resetting your tvpad and try again

Yup even tried factory reset already. Nothing. Gosh it's so frustrating trying to get this to work for my mom. She's bored out of her mind without the tvpad. Hahaha...

If the apps aren't installing then something is wrong with your usb

    make sure it's fat32 formatted

The apps installed from usb to tvpad just fine. I can see all 15 of them but they just don't open when I click on them. The N+ store opens but doesn't download any apps.

Yes, I just installed the recent apps you provided about an hr ago. I use to have about 30 apps but I must have done something wrong when I installed the first pack you linked which just seemed to be a newer version of what was there before. And it erased everything else I had on there. Now, I just want to retrieve the apps that I had and just try inputting new DNS to see if it works. Because some apps were working before with that method. It doesn't look like this VPN setup is working for me.

    Hi Dookie,
I was not able to get TVPAD2 working without using VPN. Can you share what DNS you are using?
Also, for TVPAD 4with VPN, what DNS works?

    thanks
    Rem

Omg. ..I can't believe my tvpad is up and running. Thank you so much Padman for all your time and efforts. After configuring the 2nd router with L2TP settings through VPN and changing the DNS to 47.88.138.175, all the apps opened. The only thing is the N+store opens but doesn't download the apps chosen. But, I'm just really happy that the tvpad is back on. My mom finally stop nagging at me because she has the tvpad keeping her busy. Hahaha.

For all those that are struggling with the VPN setup, I can say that it works for sure. Just a little patience and guidance from all the users in this forum, you will see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you everyone, especially Padman for all that you do.

I just wanted to share my experience with getting TVPads to work, the second router method does work with VPN Unlimited. I have a TVPad1M121S and TVPad4M418 (5.054), TVPad4 works with the new apps, posted by Padman, on regular network and auto DNS; TVPad1 is working by connecting to a second router. I set up the second router with L2TP connections to a HK server, connection is a little slow, I will try other VPN servers when I get a chance to see which one serves faster. It does take some time for VPN to connect during initial setup. Additionally, I have to manually configure TVPad1 with DNS 47.88.138.175 in order for the GREENMAN to come alive. I want to thank Padman for his guides/videos on VPN setup, I couldn't have done it without his detailed instructions. Thanks Padman!

Just another tip. My L2TP connection seems to drop every few days. There is a "KeepAlive" feature in DD-WRT that can reboot the router and reestablish the connection when that happens.

    Hello,

I am having trouble getting both of my routers to work properly - first router regular internet with no VPN, second router with VPN for TVPAD. The TVPAD works fine with l2ptp connection with just one router, but with 2nd router, my tvpad won't connect.

My 1st router is wired - cable modem to WAN, computer to LAN, and 2nd router WAN to 1st router LAN. My 2nd router has 1st router connected and tvpad connected to LAN.

Things I have done so far:

    - follow this diagram:
    vpnnetwork.png
    - followed instructions on 'configuring l2ptp' video

Use OpenVPN option on router to connect (if your router support it, most dd-wrt firmware have it), it's a lot faster. L2tp is slow and pptp is not as secured.

I just successfully setup openvpn profile on ddwrt. Apk method is getting incredible hard to setup after they disable auto dns and not allow their dns to get vpn authenticate..

follow this guide with your open vpn profile

I would not use this DNS service. Get yourself a second router for 2 routers setting.

I think that few people get little kick back commission for sending people to use that DNS service.

Has anyone been successful using this VPN method with the TvBox (Korean TVPad) / ???TV app?

If you are using tvpad version earlier than 4 then chances are no as they are shutting them down
