Hi Padman.
I'd be interested to chip in too, please let me know approximate how much and is it a one time payment or monthly, annually etc. How can we payfor the service? How can we be notice with the working DNS by email? Thanks Padman.

If TVB USA complained to the provider, can't they shut down the DNS server?
The server isnt in US so they have no jurisdiction to shut it down.
And the server isn't related to tvpad. It only serves dns queries.

Padman, I can supply you with the VPS. The uptime for the VPS is 99.99% with ~100Mbps line. The location of these VPS are from Tokyo, Singapore, Sydney, Frankfurt, Ireland, Sao Paulo, Virginia, California Oregon. Please let me know. We can get one set up tonight.
Hi padman, just to let you know that I've already signed up to be patron using monthly payment though paypal.
Did I do this too early? LOL
Looks like there are lots of people will pitch in to get the public dns server, but no one yet has signed up?
Let me know if I did it too soon please. Also if I did it right then I think the people who are willing to donate should go to the site and pitch in
so that padman can get the server up asap. Thanks.
Thanks for signing up. But I'm going to cancel patreon due to lack of interest. I'm offloading this dns server to my web host. I should have some details soon.

Don't understand the "cancel patreon due to lack of interest" statement. There seem to be almost 100% interest from the posts I see on this site, so what happened? Were we all supposed to sign on somewhere as pumitx did? I must have missed some of the thread along the way and didn't see this instruction. Perhaps if you post this again I am sure everyone here would be willing to sign up. Thanks.

So far the support has been less than stellar. Even though there are people offering to support, the amount of people that "should" be chipping in should be 30-50x this amount.
Even with enough people chipping in for the 1st server. I won't be feeling good seeing the rest of the people getting a free ride because of those people who chipped in.
In fact based on my web site statistics, this patreon should've taken off the day it was announced if even 5% of the people chipped in $1 per month... Sadly no.
So I've talked to my web host and have them setup a few servers for this purpose. This way it would be better for the people who wants to chip in. The amount would be the same as the amount they would be chipping in if 10-20 people chipped in for the patreon.

I have talked to my web host and they have agreed to work out something. I should have something for you guys in the next few days.

Thanks a lot for your contineous and untiring help to all TVpad users Padman.
I am ready for your DNS to make my TVpad2 working again in US.
Let me know how much it takes. Thanks...........
Also, I saw your other post about using VPN Unlimited as another workaround. Is this also a viable long-term solution?
Please count me in.
Thanks!

Thx
Count me it to.
Thanks!
