How to connect VPN using computer and TVPad, both needs WiFi

These are instructions on how to get free high-speed VPN working on a TVPad assuming both the TVPad and the computer both have WiFi:

1) Set up and connect to the VPN using this guide:
http://www.vpngate.net/en/howto_softether.aspx

Remember to pay attention to the VPN location and the speed of the VPN server to make sure it meets your needs for the VPN you choose to use.

2) Make your computer a Wi-Fi Hotspot using this:
http://www.drivethelife.com/free-wifi-hotspot-creator.html

3) On the TVPad, setup WiFi but point it at the WiFi Hotspot you just created in #2 and change the DNS to one that is working.

Make sure that if your WiFi connection uses the same frequency as the tvpad or else the tvpad will not see the WiFi.

    does that mean it actually change the vpn of the router?

    because i m afraid that i might mess up the router...

    should i get a 2nd router?

    You rock, i've using this method and using one of vpn from korea which providing by vpn gate for past 2 days and it works!

    To tazan,
    It doesn't change your VPN of the router and you don't need 2nd router.

    I have tried to use a windows machine as the hotspot and connect my tvpad 4 to it but it's still now working. I still can't see the app store or TVB stuffs. I'm using the vpngate client to connect to the HK server. Any way I can know if the tvpad is using the vpn tunnel or not. And any idea why it's not working?
