If your Android TV box died suddenly would you purchase Ubox, Evpad, or another device to watch the same channels you currently do on Ubox?
No question for the Ubox why? Because so many other brand will get rid of the old model not even let you used........................
You got the point bro...
What do you mean? Is that a yes or no?
I'm glad you understand but I have no clue what @cheuk5 was trying to say.
simple.... no other box will still support when they release newer models..
ubox still can run on older models.
now u can understand?
Actually no. Your response is cryptic. I asked yes or no. Do you recommend this box. Your response should be absolute.
If yes, you recommend it then say why. If no, you don't recommend it. Then explain why not.
It's a very simple question. Anyone should be able to understand even if using Google translate.
I can confirm, maximum HDMI tv signal using Ubox or EVPAD is 1080p which is mediocre on a 4K tv (3840 x 2160). Basically, they're lying to customers. That's why they won't reveal their tv signal specs to anyone who may ask.
Yes, I would buy ubox. Ubox has more channels than evpad. Their service is shady. You may have buffering at different periods of times when lots of people are using it.
Just brough couple of Ubox 10 from Unblocktech, pictures are really sharp, will it be last for another 10 years? 😄 my Ubox2 still supported.😎
What's the difference between 10 and 9 please? They keep bringing out an updated version but I much prefer the old interface. As you say even your ubox2 is still working.
Actually not much different I guess which I don't own a 9, I think the CPU H618 is better than H616 on 9, wifi 6 supported, with the newest Android 12 and better remote voice control with numbers key. Yes, my ubox 2 still working but little slow.

Allwinner which is the CPU maker hasn't kept up. The H618 is still slow as molasses. It runs very hot under virtually no load (above 69C), 2160p (4K) is unattainable as it will crash your box or freeze it should you stream YouTube at 4K, even 2K for more than a few minutes. You won't be able to stream Netflix at 4K too. The board doesn't have 4K DRM. You'll have a frustrating time trying to play Kodi especially at 4K, nevermind 1080p.
If you're looking for an AIO solution, this isn't it.
I suspect most positive reviews for both EVPAD and Ubox are for legacy models or from resellers.
My Ubox Pro S died on me a couple of days ago...
Bought the new Ubox10 Pro Max.. its fast n responsive.
i like it very much, compared to the Pro S.
Are all your channels including North American channels still functional?
Are you able to stream YouTube in 4K (2160p) without any issues such as lag and overheating?
i think we have unblock app. North American channels have not worked for months and I think there has not been upgrade to app in months either.
Do you mean live USA channels? If so, still working:
my app might not be unblock then? It combines content from US and Canada. The app just pasted seems to break down USA and Canada. Channels like tvb and canadian cantonese channels were not working.
Looks like ubox is no more... https://tvpad.ca/discussion/2691/end-of-an-era-unblocktech-shutting-down-owners-charged#latest
does this affect other services like napper? It seemed to get channels from same source or it seemed similar.
I don't know....but all my u boxes working flawlessly, may be just Taiwan.
But, my EVPAD 5P LIVE channels was down for a month, now they've even took off the WhatsApp support. Well..who knows......will see...
