What's wrong with my UBOX 2 remote control

Hi, I have an issue when using the UBOX remote control to select different apps/channels. Sometime it works, but then it freezes. The batteries was replaced and the remote control was cleaned. But the same issue still cannot be fixed.

Please advise how to fix this issue or it needs to be replaced?

Check your box's storage see if it's full, clean the system cached.
