There is a tool that you can use, to run at your own time.
Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting.
https://code.google.com/archive/p/namebench/downloadsdownload the tool for your OS and run it. Will always give you the fastest DNS for you. It also indicate which one is free which one is not. And did I mention it will tell you which is the fastest too.
