Better say most people never learn. I am interested in trying diverse streaming apps, but never touch proved or widely discussed crap android boxes. I have been with ubox(es) and a pure android one since more than 2 years ago. Thanks.

They had been displaying the legacy tvpad will get shutdown in June/July 2 (or 3) years ago? So that was bound to happen.
What messed their company up was their whole lawsuit with TVB, it broke their distribution in USA (which I believe is their largest income). And they never recovered from that again.

i never have pop up on my box. there is no infomation to steal on my tvpad4 lol. i'm still on the old version. 2 things i like china tunnel more than transocks.
1. china tunnel auto turn on at start up 2. china tunnel can watch free live app and transocks need to be turn off.

I have pop up on my Neo X8 h plus, pop up a gift box to click not Tvpad4. Yes, it's convenience to auto turn on start up but your account was stored in there like Google. Secondly, I don't like to turn on every time I turn on the box, I use Transocks to turn on whenever the apps needs. #2, really? It's based on same S805 chip, you can try the same method. Just don't do the firmware flash. Flash only the s89 root files, it shouldn't brick the box. Worst case you can reflash bluetv firmware to get back to normal.
Clean cache and data in your android box. Try going back and forth on the Cherry App and Cherry Patch. Tested working on UB Gen 2.
Does it still work? It seems that it has stopped working about two days ago, even after running the patch again. The Cherry TV app will get stuck at the opening screen. Removing and reinstalling does nothing.
