Are the Cantonese Playback App servers down or is the app just not working anymore? The app will not work for me on the HTV3 for the past month. If either is the case, would getting the HTV5/A2 Box let me watch Cantonese Playback?
Ok I saw the same. Not only Cantonese but the Mandarin one too. Someone in another thread saw the maintenance message on live TV maybe it's the still going on. Give it another day.
I'm in SF Bay Area. I don't have any problem on above listed except the Fantastic TV, The Mandarin Channel working as well. The Fantastic TV is empty, no contain but all others working very well. I have HTV3 and Comcast 100mb.

it's always good to have few backup apps on for times just like this. search the tvpad thread for free working apps.

I have the same experience. Mine is HTV5. Cantonese Playback sometimes missed a whole day, sometimes no sound, sometimes the pictures were jumpy. Very unpleasant to watch.

NO error message, it just does not display any shows for you to select/playback.
