Many thanks to Cheuk5 , 535four and those who posted to confirmed the YueTv version 0.042 and 长城阳光电视 Ver 2.23 and the links to download the apks, and also confirmed IN USA TVpad4 with version V5.054. Many many thanks, as I was reluctant to update to the new version of YueTv when prompted repeatly, somehow I did upgrade but during the process it failed resulting in YueTv uninstalled. Reinstalled v2.0 but like many others said ,it won't prompt you to upgrade anymore. Just the user interface remained but failed to connect. My parents were in a distraught as this is the only thing they could watch on tv. To make the long story short, after many failed attempts to reinstall the new versions, I realized that I need the batchinstall.banana file and I tried it. I downloaded the 2 files from links provided by Cheuk5, instead of copying just those 2 files onto a brand new blank usb,( it failed many times). This time I copied and paste the batchinstall.banana file from the old usb that contained the YueTv v2.0 apks onto the new usb that has only the new apks provided, it worked. I hope by sharing this might help those who are still having problems and those who lack computer skill like myself. Once again thanks to a group of wonderful kind people for sharing their back-uped apks. I would appreciate those who know how to back up the apks from the tvpad to share the knowledge so I can do it myself. Accidents happens,and especially to those who have lower computer skills like myself. Note that I did a restore to factory defalut before I inserted the USB that contained the batch install and the 2 new apks. I don't know if this was necessary or not but I did it. Would someone who have better knowledge clairify this . Thanks so much.

When you restore your tvpad 4 to default factory setting what firmware version is showed on the about! device screen is it v5.050 or 5.054.

Help, I am in west coast usa and I had to factory restore my tv pad (5.054) because of internal storage issues. Even clearing the cache and data would not free up any storage to upgrade the current apps and end up I can't watch yuetv without the dialog box popping up to update. After I reset, I installed my apps and the only one not working is yuetv. Yuetv will open but can't play anything. My download file is v2.3. Am I missing something?
Just want to report 港粵 and BETV plus apps are not working, showing 4120(L) error just tonight. Yesterday was working fine and been working no problem for months.
- FW is 5.054 - Current version 港粵 2.048 and BETV plus 3.4 - TVPad app store does not show any update version for those 2 apps - Taiwanese app is working fine though - I am from Toronto, Canada
Any others having the same issue? Or if someone has more updated version of apps pls let me know.

Have a look at the utilities in the TVPad app store. I can't remember the name but you run it to free up memory - it removes .apk installation files, cache etc.
