Does anyone have a smart TV that can install any apps we are discussing here?
So you limit using on smart TVs only? I am not. We have more than 1 kind android device(s) so they can run almost all apps.
no really. I am thinking to add an android-based smart TV in addition to TVPad4. Do you recommend any Smart TV that is friendly to the apps we have been discussing?
I think there's not too many smart tv allow you to side load an app on it if it has their own app market on it like Vizio. So make sure that TV allows 3rd party apps installation.
I'm using the 超级直播 but I can't see anything. You can hear the channel voices but it's black screen. This one 星火new直播_盒子 doesn't have Cantonese tvb channels. There's mandarin ones.
Purchased a 1 year shared subscription of U.S. JadeWorld on Sling for $40 on EBAY. 1 TVBHD, TVB1, TVB2, TVBe, TVB Pearl in Cantonese. They have U.S.A. news in cantonese that I can't get on UB. The other 3 TVB channels are in Mandarin. Great to have for HD TVB on Samsung TV and iOS app when I'm not at home. PM me if you want more info.
Fixed the issue with 超级直播 app Channel 6011 Xing He audio/video sync issues. Apparently my UB Gen 2 was not fast enough. Works great now with sideload on FireTv 4K and don’t forget you can switch to Cantonese.
This app is probably one of the best out there with TVB feeds from Austraila.

You are right about it, what do we expected for a 4 years+ old machine can do? May be be time for upgrade to a pro2 or other brands lol...

You are correct. I never upgraded because the UB app ran just find. The newest version of UB picture quality I believe is the same. I was waiting for UB to shut down after 1-2 yrs before upgrading but it’s been running strong (crossing fingers). Looking into EVPad as next upgrade.
@TVBullshit, I have a evpad tablet, they have more channel than UB especially t*b stations including north America t*b channels. The evpad pro2 that my friend has I'd tested was very good since it has more RAM and ROM which UB never upgrade the hardware that disappointed me but they have a long longevity history that I had count for.
I installed 超级直播 v1.4.5 to try to watch TVB live channels on a generic Android TV box. I found out that most of the channels are not working. From 6001 - 6013. The channels that consisently works are 6014 - 6022 Is this the same experience for you folks?
If I want to watch TVB live, which is the most reliable app?

The gdaily video says to press back twice on 暂无频道 under 港台频道 category but I scroll right all the way and still do not see 港台频道 category.
