Having similar problem. Did a factory reset and cannot have any app back. Have tried everything without success . I desperately need help.

try this.
go to "App Market" from the 1st home screen.
then press "Down Arrow" button on remote control. (Once only)
then press 12345 on the remote control.
u will see all "Extra" apps coming out..install whatever u need from there.

No it didn't work. I did exactly what you said...pressed on the down arrow at app market and press 12345 on the remote. Nothing happened.
